Outside south Sulawesi, first boat Pinisi more knowledgeable as boat Bugis, This Matter is caused by using most people Bugis or clever at least have Bugis Ianguage.
Although famous people Bugis Makassar as excellent seaman by using sturdy traditional boat, but in the reality boat which they use the made by one community of boat worker from Subdistrict of Bontobahari of Regency of Bulukumba of South Arch Sulawesi.
Subdistrict Bontobahari (Ara, Bira, Lemo-Lemo / tanahlemo), its geographical condition differ from the other;dissimilar subdistrict in upstate and part of west of Regency Bulukumba. In this subdistrict most its land;ground is consisted of the barren chalk hill and is only growed by the grassland and coppice. Slimmest of land;ground which can be made by a agriculture farm to take care of its citizen. That is why most this area resident chosen work in maritime sector as their profession that is have worker of boat and seaman.
